Get your friends together and plan a weekend of quilting in our studio — we can create a project specific to your interest and ability, including instruction and starting materials.
Or, bring your own sewing machine and quilt, sew, laugh, and talk all weekend!
Ellen’s quilts were featured in this year’s Annual Major’s Inn Quilt Show in Gilbertsville, NY. Read more about it here: https://www.allotsego.com/quilters-life-work-provide-a-study-in-non-conformity/
“I look at everything as a possible element for a future quilt. I have been quilting since 1987. All my quilts are my own design, are hand quilted, and sometimes hand pieced.
I am a folk art quilter, using old quilt blocks from the turn of the century that I incorporate into my designs, bringing the past to the present. Reusing fabrics from woolen/flannel clothing and tea-dying new fabric to make it appear older are some of the techniques I like to use in my quiltmaking.
I belong to several quilting groups. We enjoy sharing the art of quilting and producing many quilts to donate to worthy local charities.”
